A couple of days back good news was announced. The Pelikan Hub is back and will be held at 6.30pm on Friday the 18th of November. While it was stopped due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, there had been uncertainty if it would ever be restarted.

While this year the Hub is a couple of months later than before, November rather than September, I do not think many will be objecting as these are a great way of meeting other pen enthusiasts. You do not need to own a Pelikan pen or even be a fan of them (though I’m sure Pelikan would hope you may change your mind in time ^^ ), just book your place and turn up to meet other fountain pen and ink enthusiasts. These often are like pen club meets, so bring some paper with you and also maybe some pens to show others and let others try, as they may let you try theirs.

The main website for the event is https://www.pelikan-hubs.com/ and the direct link to register is found here. Note if there is no location near you and you know others in your area who may be interested then you can recommend an alternate location after confirming your details, though there will need to be someone willing to organise it if there are enough of you.

If you live South or West of London then it looks like we will once more be hosting a hub in Fleet, Hampshire, so please put that down as your target location if it is available from the list or as an alternative if not 😉

Hopefully see a good few of you in Fleet on the 18th of November.
